ABOUT PEARLY SMILES
ABOUT OUR TEAM

Dr. Mori, a Board Certified Pediatric Dentist, believes that a positive, memorable visit with the dentist can establish a lifetime of optimal oral health. That is why we focus on preventative dentistry and nutritional education to ensure that your little ones are happy and healthy. At our office in Torrance, we offer comprehensive pediatric dentistry in a friendly environment, and every patient receives care tailored to their specific needs, habits, and lifestyle. If you’re looking for a dental home in Palos Verdes, Torrance, Redondo Beach and South Bay and beyond, Dr. Mori and her team would love to meet you and your family!
WHAT IS A PEDIATRIC DENTIST?
Pediatric Dentists take additional two to three years to focus exclusively on the oral health, growth and development of children. Just like a pediatrician is a doctor specific for children, a pediatric dentist is a dentist specific for children and adolescents.
Dr. Mori is specifically trained and certified as a pediatric dentist to provide the highest quality oral health care for ages 21 and under.
WHY IS BOARD CERTIFICATION IMPORTANT?
Not all Pediatric Dentists are certified by the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry (ABPD). The ABPD board certification indicates that a pediatric dentist has successfully completed accredited training and a voluntary 2-part examination process designed to continually validate the knowledge, skills, and experience requisite to the delivery of quality patient care.
Dentists certified through the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry (ABPD) hold the highest possible credentials within the field of Pediatric Dentistry. Dr. Mori strives to provide the best oral care for your child and this board certification is a testament to her dedication.

Some say going to the dentist isn’t fun. But those in the South Bay are, haven’t seen Dr. Mori! Our Pearly Smiles Team and Dr. Mori have an office in Palos Verdes adjacent to the city of Torrance. Our approach aims to reframe the way people think about going to the dentist. It’s something that doesn’t just make for pearly smiles now, but sets a precedent for excellent dental health care that lasts a lifetime.
Our philosophy at Pearly Smiles Pediatric Dentistry takes an honest, compassionate and joyful approach to treating and teaching kids healthy oral care habits from a young age. We specialize in the oral health of children from infancy through the teen years and those with special health care needs.
Oral Health is an integral part of overall health and development, and our comprehensive approach helps your child achieve optimal health and well-being. We are blessed to be able to serve children and their families in Torrance, PV, Redondo Beach and beyond in the South Bay.
The office was cute, clean, well kept and so kid friendly. The staff made my daughter feel welcome and comfortable. They even put her name on a welcome sign. She is three and she loved the experience. The dentist was so nice and very informative, and the dental and office assistants were both great. I already scheduled the next follow visit.
Thank you Pearly Smiles for such a wonderful experience. My three children, ages 4, 8, and 11 had a great time. The office environment was bright, fun and welcoming. The staff was amazing! They showed so much patience working with my autistic son and described in steps what needs to be done for my kids to have the best dental care.
Dr. Mori and her staff we absolutely amazing!! We could not have asked for a better experience for our 2 and 4 year old boys, they left the dentist wanting to go back! Dr. Mori took the time to talk to them about their teeth and why it is important to take care of them, leaving lasting impressions on even our 2 year old. I would recommend this practice to any family with young kids!
